Remission in His Name, (not by prayers)....Acts 10:43

 "Of Him all the prophets bear witness 

that through His name everyone who believes in Him 

receives forgiveness of sins. "

Consider also:

Luke 24:47

"and that repentance for forgiveness of sins 

would be proclaimed in His name 

to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem."

Acts 2:38 

Peter said to them, "Repent, 

and each of you be baptized 

in the name of Jesus Christ 

for the forgiveness of your sins; 

and you will receive 

the gift of the Holy Spirit.

 

Life through His name, not by "works.".... John 20:31

"...but these have been written so that you may believe 

that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; 

and that believing you may have life in His name."

Consider also: 

John 3:15

so that whoever believes

will in Him have eternal life.

Salvation  in His name, not in any other.... Acts 4:12

"Neither is there salvation in any other: 

for there is none other name

under heaven 

given among men,

whereby we must be saved."
